Grilled Peaches with Strawberry & Peach Whip

While living a healthy lifestyle and staying on track is important, wiggle room is also a must-have for keeping your sanity without going overboard.  I’ve made this dessert recipe with that in mind - included are peaches, which are high in antioxidants and provide a dose of Vitamin C; 1% milk to boost calcium content and vitamin D, and a high quality protein powder to help build lean muscle and keep the metabolism firing.  Enjoy!

Serves: 1



1/2 cup Frozen peaches, sliced

1/3 cup 1% milk

1 scoop Strawberry protein powder

1/2 tsp. Xantham gum

1 whole Peach, halved and pit removed



Method of Preparation:

To make Strawberry & Peach Whip: In a tall container, combine first four ingredients and, using a hand blender, mix until well incorporated.  Then, using the whip attachment, “fluff” the consistency until airy and has doubled in size.

 To Grill the peaches: Place your grill on medium high heat, and place peaches flesh side down. Allow to cook for about 6 - 7 minutes.

Remove from grill and place peaches grilled side up. Top with Strawberry & Peach Whip. 


For a more savory dessert, include the following ingredients;

1. Balsamic vinegar; drizzle on plate first

2. Rosemary, chopped; lightly sprinkle on top of whip
