This is one of my all time favorite recipies. I make it everytime I have guests or friends for brunch and it's always a big hit. I couldn't think of a better time of year to share it!
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup vanilla almond milk
1/4 cup old fashioned oats
Pinch of pumpkin pie spice
1 heaping teaspoon of canned pumpkin
1/8 cup sliced almonds Steviva
Frosting-1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder and 1tbsp water
1. Bring water and milk to a boil. Add oats and pumpkin pie spice, then reduce heat to med-low and cook until liquid is absorbed, about 7-10 mins, stirring occasionally.
2. Turn off heat and stir in punpkin, almonds and sweetener if desired.
3. Mix the protein powder and water until it's smooth and poor over oatmeal.
