Create a positive morning ritual!
It's time to stop hitting the snooze button and wake up with passion! For as long as I can remember I would snooze until the last moment possible, I would check my email as I was rolling out of bed, and I would regretfully turn on the news. Little did I know I was creating a chaotic and taxing experience and setting an awful tone for my day, which lead to a week, and then unfortunately many years.. I have now created a morning routine where I wake up with gratitude, passion, and the motivation to inspire others. This is a practice and from time to time I slip a bit, I acknowledge that and then work really hard to get back on the morning ritual train. It's important to create a ritual that best serves you- but I will give you a few examples to get you started :)
1) Start you day with a positive thought or maybe even affirmation- This positivity will carry with you for the rest of the day. Your nervous system is very sensitive to your thoughts- Choose wisely.
2) Before you leave the house set a positive intention for the day- intend to be kind to others and yourself. Be empowering to your friends, family, and co-workers.
3) Find a podcast on a specific topic you're passionate about and listen to it every morning- you will learn something new everyday!
I begin my day with gratitude and love.
